The next morning was a rough one... in fact, every morning in Gville is a rough one. Well it was damn near 11am and we were headed to Tahoe for some skating and then to the beach for some beers and fireworks. Its hard to think about skating when there's countless girls walking around the streets of Tahoe in bikinis.

4th of Jew Lie part 1

Well we were told that Lake Tahoe is the shit for 4th of July. Well let me tell you. its not. Have fun trying to smuggle enough beer to the beach and downing it before the pigs ticket you and make you dump it out. Any way, Me, Rob, and Jr took off for G-ville thursday night and got into town around 1:30 am. The plan was to meet Jack and Nikki in Reno the fallowing morning...

We Were then greeted by these two when we got to Bobby's house.

So last weekend was long... Friday was Fish and Brosephs B-day. Two of the coolest dudes from G-ville. So to reno we went. Then saturday was the industry night at Epic park which was amazing. I didn't get any photos from epic because i couldn't stop skating to take any. Then a little skate mission.

Well we finally had a dry saturday to have our contest! LURK HARD x OFFICIAL x ftc helped me throw a best trick contest at mather park while Red Bull (courtesy of kyle duval) kept everyone juiced. It turned out better than i thought. Mainly cause it was just for fun. Some major High lights were Will the Thrill 2nd try big spin board slide then he battled and defeated a switch big spin board slide. Miika did a tre flip 5050 on the hubba, WTF! some kid with a mohawk ollied the stairs for a red bull and an official hat. I saw about 4 or 5 hard flips go down. Apollo had a hi-8 camcorder. peep the scene on the hubba site. Rob maso was a monster attacking the rail. Taylor casually destroyed the rail and hubba with ease. This dude from minnesota "crazy legs" did the coolest street grabs i have ever seen. switch 180 mute and a nollie tuck knee from hell!!! Bernie came in hot with a mean benny down the stairs and some grand daddy purps. And my favorite highlight, My homie "beaver" switch heeled the stairs soooooo good and got a board. Thanks for all you rad skaters and little skate rats for showing the sac skate scene some love. I wish i could have made everyone a winner buuuuut i couldn't.

Two, just look at the danger factor...he's fucking backwards, and three; he did it with ease and made it look like nothing. He also switch back smith grinded it, and ollied over the top of the rail to 50. AND he had no idea there was a contest going on. He just naturally kills it!

2nd place goes to taylor! He promised to put this trophy right next to his golden cactus one that he got from an am contest in Arizona. That just made my day.

Friday was the Sacramento premier for the Macaframa fix gear video. I know, i know, fix gears are fuckin lame, but two of my really good friends who i grew up skating with made the video. So i had to come out and show some love. To tell you the truth, THE VIDEO WAS FUCKIN TIGHT!!! Those dudes go so fast its fuckin insane. The filming of the video was fuckin epic! Oh and did i mention JOHN CARDIEL has a full part! The theater erupted when Cardiel's part came on. It was definitely the loudest part of the night. I felt like i was watching a new skate part of his. After the video Mike penning's hosted a party at the town house and shit got LIVE!

This week was pretty fun. We managed to skate during the week and it was a pretty successful mission. Which is pretty good considering it looks like rain all weekend. Looks like I'll see you all at 28th and B...

Got an early start. 10 am i think. first stop was masa verde rail. Then headed over to Little John, and then to Wilsey Wood. Here we ran into FOFA captain Alan Hannon and his posse. Our last stop was at the Rusch Bump. thanks to sean. I haven't had a full day of skating in quite some time. The summer is too hot and doesn't permit it. But seeing as the weather is getting alot nicer, we're able to have more of a productive day. Any way, here is a full day of skating with the Lurk Hard crew!
